Parnwell's Fair Share Lottery Projects

In 2003, Peterborough was one of over 70 areas in the UK that was spotted to have received less than its “fair share” of Lottery funding.  As a result, The National Lottery’s Fair Share Trust programme awarded Parnwell, a residential area to the north west of Peterborough, lottery funding to be spent on community projects over a 10 year period.

Throught the Fair Share Lottery Funding their are currently three primary projects being run from Community House each using different methods to engague local residents and improve the community spirit of Parnwell.

Positively Parnwell

Positively Parnwell is the umbrella name for all of the projects however it is also a project in its own right, aiming to create and support community groups, help residents find educational resorces and offer a range of oppertunites for local residents of all ages to become involved in the project.

Parnwell Pride Project
